Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Kitteh Serves was sweet enough to nominate me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award.  Shocked would be an understatement.  She has never even left a comment.  I started blogging just a way to journal and work through the crazy feelings of beginning ttwd.  I never really thought about other people reading it.  It still amazes me that they do.

So here they are!

The Rules:
1. Display the award logo on your blog.
2. Link back to the person who nominated you.
3. State 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and link to them.
5. Notify those bloggers of the nomination and the award’s require

7 Things About Myself:
1.  I LOVE music...I listen to all different kinds of music from
rap, to metal, to even a bit of country :)
2.  I sing...ALL the time.  In the car, in the shower, in the
Kitchen, it doesn't matter where I am or who I am with.  My
children have picked up this trait and do it as well.
3.  I HATE winter.  I HATE the cold.  I HATE snow.  I could stay
inside for the entire winter, hibernating til Spring.
4.  John and I started "dating" when I was 12 yrs old.  We dated
on and off until we married when I was 19 and he was 21.
5.  None of our friends/family know about our lifestyle or this
    blog.  They would be shocked!
6.  It is my dream to own a Harley and be able to ride it all by
    myself.
7.  John is my first and only love of my life and I am so blessed
to have him and our life together.

So the bloggers I have nominated are ones that have in some way left a lasting impression on me.  Each in their own way has helped John and I to form our own version of ttwd.  To them I am ever grateful for their willingness to open their hearts and minds to pour out their life to help others.  These men and women haven taken the time to answer blogs or chat or talk on the phone to pull me back from the brink of quitting.  Thank you!  It just doesn't seem adequate.

And the Nominees Are: in alphabetical order

1.  At Ian and Lillie's Place
2.  Barney Married Wilma
3.  Exploring Surrender
4.  Finally Finding Me
5.  Giggles, Grins, and Reflections
6.  Her Mischief Managed
7.  Lucy's Lunacy
8.  My Bottom Smarts
9.  Red Booty Woman
10. Rogue's Awakening
11. Roz in his hands

    1. You are very sweet and your comments always leave me thinking. And oh yes! I definitely want my own bike...John rides and we go on little day trips together, but I've always wanted to be able to ride alone (there may be something to that...sssshhhh!)

  4. Hi P, thank you for the nomination and thank you so much for your very kind words.

Most of the time I think that what I post on my blog is mere ramblings of a mad woman LoL so I am most honoured and humbled by your words.

I love your facts. I love music and sing all the time too. You started dating when you were 12? Wow!

    Hugs

    1. Well considering that I had a warning over my last post the all I was going to do was ramble and cry, etc. I think that may be why I love reading your blog so much lol!

I do love music and singing...I think I got it from my mom and now have passed it on to our kids.

Yes, John and I "dated" (at that time we never went anywhere) when I was 12. We had some ups and downs along the way, but always found our way back to one another :D

      Hugs back at ya!

    1. I love the way that you and MM relate to one another. The love that the two of you share is apparent in every word you write. Thank you for being so open and honest and allowing us to come along for the ride. Your advice is always so loving and gentle and I so appreciate that you take the time to offer words of wisdom and encouragement.

Hibernating sounds devine...though a beach and some sunshine sounds even better!

    1. Oh I do love music and to sing! It's funny to watch the kids doing it too. When our son was 3 or 4 he would sing in the back of the car ALL the time! The girls would get so mad at him, but I thought it was cute :)
